hey i have an 08 tc and wanted to go turbo but i dont know which one would be the better kit for my car. any suggestions?

 

i have an awesome suggestion. how's about you do a little search, and read some of the countless other threads on wich turbo kit is "the best", rather then starting a new one.

 

Go with dezod

either kit is a very solid kit that if installed correctly and tuned by a professional will give you plenty of boosting excitment for years to come. But in this case i would lean towards dezod, just becouse they really strive to help others out.

Or you could go TT and thread jack to your hearts content....lol

To be honest, either way you'll get a good kit.

The Turbonetics kit for the '07-'08 comes with an FIC.

So you have a ballbearing turbo and FIC with Tnetics - and a recirculating BOV.

Both are going to make roughly the same amount of power. Tnetics also has a wonderful warranty - they even cover your engine.

 

Any one of the three kits mentioned would be a wonderful choice. I have a T'netics kit and love it. but they ALL have pretty good reputations. As for price.....I'm not sure how they stack up. Upgradability? I think all companies offer upgrades for their base kits. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that...

Todd, being the stand up gentleman that he is, gave his honest opinion of the 2.

Now us, being TT threadjackers, would say to go with turbo Toyotas! but yes, out of Dezod or Turbonetics, I would also recomend Dezod.

and I was not aware the new T-netics kits came with F/IC instead of unichip...t-nettics stepping it up...

 

My Unichip runs just fine....but I'll agree there's ZERO support for the damn thing!

 

need a good local unichip tuner to get it tuned. AEM fi/c anyone can play with
