well i can load up the map (i think) without the updates.
but a message will come up saying something about "the old format was replaced with the new format. The Air/Throttle Adjustment setting was initialized."
then nothing pops up. but the once gray "INJ" button is now black and clickable. and i can mess with the dezod map settings.
what does that mean?
and your saying i dont need to update?

I have the different version 'updates' if you need them so you can go back to the old versions if the new ones wont work.

I've connected to my e-Manage Ultimate just using a normal A-B USB cable with no issues.

Maybe it's different for the older e-Manage Blue but for the Ultimate it worked fine.

I would bet that the ultimate uses a regular cable seeing as how it comes with the software.

Hi Prophecy2k4,
This is a very useful information. Could you test the 3 connected cables (actual is 4) which are connected to which pins of the USB with a meter because I'm preparing to do it?
Thanks for your assistance!

Not sure, I am on Windows XP. So long as you get the DKU-5 drivers for Windows 7, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
Before you do it, just make sure you can find the drivers for the cable and that the GReddy support tool works on Windows 7.
