wtc_81 do you already have an intercooler and a BOV?

Why not just buy the piping from ZPI? I realize it is abit more than the Ebay kit above, but their's is made for your car and is an add on for the kit you already have. If there is one thing I have learned, it is spend the extra money now and do it the right way the first time or you could pay for it big time in the long run. Just my 2 cents.... Good luck.

I just did my own piping kit like you want to . It was not easy and if u like to work on your car it can be quit fun. I did my kit for about $200 for pipeing $100 for intercooler and $150 for blow off valve. It was worth all the hard work cuz i put out 255whp and 260lbtq. I am going to add a sprayer for a few mor ponies. One word of caution i was not abel to clock the turbo like i wanted to do to lack of space.Let me know if i can answer any questions u might have. Good luck

I got my IC off of ebay just make sure you get one with the inlets at the bottom and if i was you i would go with a lil bit tall IC and yes its been dynoed and tuened with a greedy e manage ultiment with no blow off valve and put out 255whp and 260wtq

I'm assuming you are talking about the car in my avatar pic... That is not a kit car. That is a 2005 Ford GT. The successor to the 1966 Ford GT-40 that raced at lemans. That is my friend's car and it was just to take some pictures. it came stock with 505 horsepower and it has a few mods done to it.

pics of how you did your piping if you got them please.

I am building my own kit and have welding skills, just not a mendrel bender so I don't want to pay the 600 for pre fabed piping.

I think Kaeon also did a home-made intercooler mod for his stage 0. You have to search for it. He relocated the battery I think (or got a real small one).

Did you have to cut anything around the bumper area to get the ic to fit?

yes. The bumper support beam has been cut on the edges. We also cut some holes in the front to mount the intercooler to it. We cut the edges at an angle deep enough to where we could the piping at an angle. Because we went with an intercooler with center inlets, we had to do this, if you get a slightly taller one with inlets at the top, you most likely would not have to. but you might, I don't know

Anyone have a stage 1 installed in a car with an automatic tranmission? I mean -I was looking at my engine bay the other day and I could not see a direct path for the return pipe from the Inter cooler to make it back to the throttle body. Anyone have pics?
