DIY-IPT Trans Valve Body Upgrade Install..
As for regular driving you really cant feel a difference at all. Acually I think it shifts smoother than before but IDK.
But I put it through its first test I did a burn out and thats when it usally hit the revlimiter. But NOT NOW. It was the best burnout I have ever done with the car!! LOL But I can tell now that it acually works and it was so worth it!! LOL

nice to see that you went through with this. If you got time please add your info to my auto tranny build up guide.

Hopefully I'll have my new valve body upgrade installed over spring break when I go home from college.
I also have a new torque converter from level 10 sitting at my parent's house. So here's to hoping that I'll be able to get them installed.

If you need help convincing your friend, just don't go to OhioScions.com. Theres a couple people there who will just sit there and tell you it's stupid to boost an auto.
My general feeling was that OhioScions as a whole seems to like to FORCE people to conform with their ideas.
But thats just me.

no. Not talking to you.
I'm just showing my disdain with ohio scions. Honestly, they're worse than Honda-tech.
I mean, at least at Honda-tech, people know what they're talking about. Sure they're elitist, but they do know what they're talking about.
On ohio scions, SOME members only put a new bumper on their car and they think that they can lecture people on turbo kits, transmission, etc.
But here's what you can do to convince your friend or why I choose to build an auto tranny.
1) stop and go traffic.
2) Frees up 1 hand
I hate driving my accord in stop and go traffic. It's absolutely terrible. I hate driving manual in downtown houston, cleveland, and chicago. It's a nightmare.
Driving auto lets me do the following:
1. talk on the phone in stop and go traffic.
2. high five a friend
3. tickle my gf.
4. eat
5. scratch an itch
6. play with the cd/radio/gps
sure you can do the same in a manual. But you have to stop when you need to shift.

try using synthetic trans fluid ive been using it for over a year. its not TIV but i bought it from BG i third party company that toyota and other companies use for fluid supplies they offer a 100,000 mile warranty over your factory warranty, if you trans fails before or after factory warranty its covered.. WIN WIN.. this is my second trans the first on failed at 20k toyota warrantied and ever since i installed synthetic fluid , no problem im boosting at 12psi 300hp , i drive hard every day, and i mean every day...
^^ i don't think that is possible? bec. 300whp is alot and syntheic might have some difference..in terms of protecting tranny...but i don't think u would be able to get 300whp w/ just a oil and valve body...maybe if their is a torque converter that would help alot.
EDIT: cmcpride r u talking about whp or just hp ?

you will def. need to at least get the clutch packs upgraded. KRDshark is running a boosted auto. He had his tranny built up. especially the clutch packs.
Clutch packs will fry under heat.
I think KRD did not have a tranny oil cooler.
So, Tranny oil cooler, valve body upgrade, synthetic oil. I think something around 300 is definetely possible.

wlfpck ya that is now what I currently have now. I had the tranny cooler installed already before my valve body upgrade. So what would be a safe number to go with?? I was going to go for like 240WHP but I can go higher??
