do we have fuel cut?
last night whiel doing a spirited run when i was in second around 5600 rpms it felt like i hit rev limiter .......i shifted to third and car was fine...
so does the tc have fuel cut when the maf gets too high a signal
because my safc is telling the ecu that the maf is getting a larger reading than what it really is

i have a an 08 and mine revs to 6750 my safc has logged somewhere around 6750 as my highest rev....
but no idk if it sounded like rev limit it just felt like it, i had a loud ___ honda with open header next to me so my car was silent......

rev limit is in everygear.... but yea electronic in 5th at 130 for me.... =P
first time i hit top speed when i was boosted i thought my motor blew cuz it was just going 130mph and pulling hard then hit a wall hahha

im not calling BS on you cburg but how is it your car can go to 6750rpm and 130mph when the revlimiter and speed limiter arent bypassed since your only using the safc? cause as far as i know the emanage ultimate and any standalone are the only ones to be able to raise rpms and cut off the speed limiter.
are you positive with that 6750 and 130 hp? where did you see those numbers, on your dash or on safc? not familiar with safc but if you saw those from there it could be that it was miscalibrated or something

The needle may go up a lil more but electronic cutoff is 127mph and rev-limit is 6500 from the factory. You cant just go by what ur gauges say! There is always a small percentage error. Unless you have a calibrated electronic measuring device your not gna know exactly. Plus even then alot of factors can come into play with a universal measuring device!
it might bounce up to that.. i wasnt really bouncing my limiter when i was on the stock ecu.. not sure about the tc but there is something called a soft and hard limiter.. 6700 could be the hard limit

The speed is off the guage, and I have a data log on a 3 gear pull were my rev went to 6754.
3 gear pull, and then shifting to 4 gear when it reaches 6300 rpm. I never tried to find out if we had a rev limiter on the tc, I have only seen it get that high when I was not paying attention when it was time to shift.
i think i might have hit fuel cut when my wastegate vac hose melted and i overboosted. i was in first gear and floored it and at about 5k it cut out with three rapid pops. maybe the same thing?
tcpete designed his own tranny gears. i've maxed out my speedo plenty, but this vehicle is limited to what it was built for. the car doesnt have the proper set up from the factory to handle higher speeds in stock form. are you aware you can remove the speed cut. some tc's got ignition while others got fuel cut. and yes you can go past 6500 rpm pending year, but only when power shifting before fuel cut.
