Here's a pic of dezod's downpipe and turbo assembly. Pull the downpipe off and lay the manifold like it is in this pic. Then try to match the downpipe up like that. Who's manifold? It looks like the flange on the dezod manny is on an angle. The problem could be the flange but try what I said.

I see what's going on. Yeah it is the flange on dezod's manny, it's angled to make the downpipe work. You might have to cut or change the downpipe. Make sure if you cut, when it's lined back up that the bottom end lines up with your spipe.

im not sure if i should wait till i am putting the turbo in to cut and weld it or if i should i just do it and try to get it as close as i can with out having it in the car

if you look at the picture you posted when the manifolds flange is sitting flat on the ground the downpipe is touching the ground also
so i could sit it in the same position as in the picture and tack it in place then take it off and tig weld it

I'd wait till it's all on. You don't want to just start hacking things up. The one in the pic I posted looks a little different shape so just laying it on the floor and cutting may not make it work.

Use a Dezod manifold and it will fit fine prolly. I'd do that before you start cutting and welding.

Is that the tredstone mani? Its a cast mani whatever it is.

I was thinking clocking it as well, but looking closer, they are both on teh same side.

You need to use the mani and downpipe from the same company...so dezod mani with the DP or treadstone DP with the mani.

i got a dezod mani and it was cracked so bad that it couldnt be fixed so i just got a cast..
and i got the new mani on ebay and its either a treadstone or a knock off of it and the only problem with using a treadstone DP is that its a 4 bolt flange and my turbo is a 5 bolt flange so im just going to cut this one and make it work

Call Dezod and see if they can do something about the manifold being cracked. Not sure what their replacement policies are but it doesn't hurt to ask. They are at SEMA so no phone support for the next couple days.

It looks like the length of the downpipe may be wrong after you get the angle fixed.

i was thinking the same thing lastnight when i was looking at it...i thing its going to be about an inch or two too long so once i weld the angle right ill just take about an inch out of the center or the downpipe

i really dont feel like buying another mani
that will be the 3rd one

could be a defective downpipe that was welded wrong.

Are you serious? I've seen that fake treadstone mani floating around ebay for almost a year.

that down pipe doesn't make sense to me its just bone straight down...

also that turbo is just built weird looks like it was meant to be a top mount turbo which makes absolutely no sense since thats the manifolds job to make that claim

i don't think clocking it will help since the turbine housing is a one piece
