WRLEO, FYI, on the WR site the description for the tC intake manifold is quite a bit off. Please have someone write a more accurate description.

What they should have done is dyno'd the car like this:
1st test: STOCK MANIFOLD + WR SECRET WEAPON INTAKE + PRECISION EXHAUST

2nd test: WR MANIFOLD + WR SECRET WEAPON INTAKE + PRECISION EXHAUST

This way, everything remains constant throguh each of the tests except for the manifold. Doing this allows us to see the exact gains of the manifold.
finally someone that understands, lol

this is what ive been ranting on,

I understood what you were asking as well. Even the addition of a WR Manifold + ARC Intake + Precision Exhaust should be added to the mix.

Because many people wanted to know.. the differences betweenhaving the following..
Taking the ARC box out of the equation..

STOCK Manifold + WR Race Header + ARC Intake + Precision Exhaust.
WR Manifold + WR Race Header + ARC Intake + Precision Exhaust.
WR Manifold + WR Race Header + WR SW Intake + Precision Exhaust.

Here we go...
STOCK MANIFOLD + WR Race Header + ARC Intake + Precision Exhaust. ( RED LINE )
WR Manifold + WR Race Header + ARC Intake + Precision Exhaust. ( LIGHT BLUE LINE )

WR Manifold + WR Race Header + ARC Intake + Precision Exhaust. ( LIGHT BLUE LINE )
WR Manifold + WR Race Header + WR SW Intake + Precision Exhaust. ( THIN RED LINE )

Everything together:
STOCK Manifold + WR Race Header + ARC Intake + Precision Exhaust. ( THICK RED LINE )
WR Manifold + WR Race Header + ARC Intake + Precision Exhaust. ( LIGHT BLUE LINE )
WR Manifold + WR Race Header + WR SW Intake + Precision Exhaus ( THINK RED LINE )

If you had dyno numbers for F/I then id say ok... lol... maybe you should get someone who has a turbo to do a dyno... hehe

jeez did anyone actually give props for getting some intake manifold results?! everyone went into instabash mode.

thank you WRLEO for getting some dynos that we have been waiting for great torque results

cant wait to see some F/I dyno numbers. should be big.

You are showing one with stock intake manifold and ARC airbox then the other with WR intake manifold and Weapon R short ram. The intake itself (not intake manifold) could have net gains like this. You need exact same conditions on both to be accurate, also my stock dyno lines don't look that jacked up they are fairly smooth. The torque does dip down a bit but not at all like yours, something just doesn’t look right.

Thanks bro... Our work is never appreciated..
Everyone thinks since we are a performance parts manufacturer, we should take all the ISH because were making money from them.. Did anyone ever consider that we could have just focused our efforts towards making parts for other cars.. I mean we put 1 year into making this manifold.. I cant believe how many prototypes we made before the public even got to see anything.. To see these gains on a car with basic bolt on's and no fuel management is very good.. Even honda's need to do a reflash when they put on a manifold that allows more air..

F/I numbers will be done here shortly....

I will be testing it on :

1. New simple kit with the 3" dp s-pipe combo with and without cams and upgraded valvetrain

2. 2.1 Stage 1 kit (T3/T4)

3. Fully Built setup....headwork cams etc.

Hopefully that will satisfy you guys.

regards-

Todd

UM...
1. The guy didnt bring all his stock stuff.. I dont even think he has stock stuff anymore..
2. I dont think were going to put the stock stuff back on for a BASE STOCK ...
3. The first dyno IS How the car came in.. ( THICK RED LINE )
4. THICK RED LINE = STOCK MANIFOLD + ARC BOX + WR HEADER + EXHAUST
5. LIGHT BLUE = WR MANIFOLD + ARC BOX + WR HEADER + EXHAUST
6. THIN RED = WR MANIFOLD + WR INTAKE + WR HEADER + EXHAUST
7. What doesnt look right is the manifold is alittle over kill for NA applications.. It's really geared for FI guys ... 60% FI 40% NA.. Which is why i said its good gains on a car with just those bolt ons..

I really dont think anyone can make them for $350...
We cant even make them for that price..
Your getting..
Spun Aluminum Velocity stacks
CNC HEAD & TB FLANGES
4mm Thick Aluminum Plenum
Long Runners
Flow bench Time..
Dyno Time..

Were in the Black Right now as it is..
Your other option is Golden Eagle.. Which is more and NO ONE HAS A DYNO ON IT..
I highly doubt that it makes any power..
I talked to Turbo Toyota's and they had one on their car.. Didnt make any power...
Has since been taken off and sold.. perfect example..

This manifold was 1 year in the making.. Dyno time & Flow Benching etc.. etc..
If someone can make them for that price i would beware.. I dont see how you can make something like this with the same materials.. Just in raw materials alone it costs $400..

if this was but on a s/c, would it be safe to run this, 9.5 psi pulley, h/i/e and still run the trd map?

If on a NA car with stock map.. im sure it would be no problem to run FI on the TRD map.. Since the TRD map runs it alittle more rich and normal..
