Thanks man, and good luck. Yea I will try and squeeze one or two possible track days this summer/fall. I can't do to much abuse this year as I mentioned, she is on DD duty until a set of FR-S keys are in my pocket. Then I'm going after a few podium finishes in GTA Street Class. They will allow me to put gears in the trans per rules for Street class, which is the only thing that holds us back from making tons of power and be reliable lap after lap.

I want an FR-S so bad....will focus on that after I get my house. That's awesome! I can definitely see you ripping up the track and getting some podium finishes! Which gears are you looking to do? I want to do 3rd & 4th gear myself. I'm actually going to take my tC to a couple road courses this year....I won't just be hitting the dragstrip.

Same here! Route 66 dragstrip is my best shot at doing it.....well prep'd and super sticky but they will for sure give you the boot if you're 1/10th under a requirement.

Should take me a few months to get my motor done. Putting about $400 bucks in the built motor fund every paycheck, add in the income tax (which won't be much).

Very good plan, sounds exactly like what I did last year! Got all the major stuff done, know its a lot of small tedious things I have to do in order to get it running.

They gave me a hard time when I was running 12's because of the glass roof and no roll bar. They were trying to treat it like our car is a vert. For a ____ty track, theyre pretty damn picky on safety regs, unless youre friends with them, then they dont seem to care lol. Oh well Ive heard in the last year track prep and what not has actually gotten alot better. I havent actually ran my car there since '11. It was down SO much last year, it never saw a single pass. I dont think the cars ever been down the track making over 400-450whp. I take that back, I did make like 2 passes on those MT DR's which didnt hook for ____ when it was making low 500's. Thats the time I got a 130mph trap.

Still waiting on two more W2's, but so far I'm getting back more than I expected at least.

Most likely mine will go down too when I add the last two W2's... Hope for the best, expect the worse.

Hahaa...

I put the engine up on the stand last night. Got to taking some odds and ends off, nothing big yet. The flywheel is being a BLEATCH though. I should have taken that out while it was still in the car Problem I'm facing is that the flywheel bolts are tight enough that when I try to break them loose, it just spins the crank. Going to try some PBlaster, if no go, I'll just say F-it and send it with the flywheel still attached.

I have Crossfit tonight, so no working on it today. Perhaps I'll get to it tomorrow and start getting to some major components.

That flywheel is sounding like the rubber bushings on my E351 tranny! The copper bushing that they're sealed to is seized on the metal post and I've tried everything under the sun to get them off and they won't budge at all. Just being a PITA for no reason at all.

Hopefully you can get to the major stuff this week.....looking forward to you being back on the road tearing tracks up again.

Don't think my impact is strong enough. It's a little cheap one.
