Im using 1000cc with return fuel system and twin walbro 255. Im currently running 55 psi static fuel pressure and it keeps up with 18 psi on a 60-1 no prob IDC is around 65-70%. My regulator has rising rate, but im not using it as it seems to make tuning easier with the FIC

 

Whats wrong with the 1600s?

 

if your on a standalone justy takes time but it should idle good. have cams? with 1600 you can reach high 600 so 550whp should be fine on 1600cc.

 

Yea it has cams..I know it takes time Im just breaking it in now anyway. We will re-tune after its broken in.

 

how much base fuel pressure did you set it? bigger injectors might like a slight high pressure at idle.. only have 900cc but it was never a problem

 

Would 700cc idle at original startup?

 

^ i dont see why not.. just have to correct the fueling
