what do you think could go wrong with this turbo set up? is it worth it cause it so cheap? sorry i already posted this in the wrong section by accident

You dont need to post again. The mods will move the last one. There is an old saying that goes "you get what you pay for". I would never trust that kit on my car.

but also i find intercooler kits on ebay for 100 bucks sometimes from company's that make kits like this but i cant see what could go wrong with a intercooler

Alot can go wrong. Its not like you just take alluminum and weld it togethor. You have alot of pressure running through the intercooler. A boost leak is inevitable with the cheapo front mounts.

 

you also have to worry about heat soak.. cheap intercoolers are not very efficient.

 

im seeing crack manifolds in the future.... NEAR FUTURE...

no ur not...its a cast iron manifold...its not gonna crack for a VERY long time if it eventually even does crack. Cast iron is as strong as your gonna get for a turbo maniofld. Its probly the strongest piece out of that whole junk turbo kit lol

 

piece of crap. Dont buy it. You get what you paid for!!

 

Ya $850 is probably just a bit more than what you would pay for a brand new turbo by itself. Stay far away from this kit and go with something thats proven and respectable if you want to go boost.

 

I think this kit would work fine as long as you took precautions, like upgraded the fuel system or get an EMS. If I wasnt supercharged I would try this method out.

do people really not know that much about engines, not trying to flame bro. Honestly tho this is seriously the best way to ruin your engine if you want to.
