Default EGT Placement?

These are questions for those of you who are running the probe before the turbo. Which runner are you guys placing it in? Would the #1 runner be the hottest since it is at the end of the fuel rail and therefore the leanest?

There are a few factors that determine which cylinder is the hottest. Lean is not the only one albeit a large one. I would probably use cylinder one or two. Probe placement should be 1 1/2" from cylinder head port exit.

Cyl #1 is gonna be the on the passenger side. Cyl will usually if not always be closest to the drive belts. I wanna say that Cyl #3 burns the hottest... but that might be on Hondas XD But I would listen to Don. He knows his stuff.
