Default electric exhaust cutout help

so im thinking of running a electyric exhaust cutout on my turbo tc i was thinking of buying a new 2.5" s pipe since my downpipe is 2.5 and wleding the exhaust cutout right after the second 02 instead of running a full 2.5 exhaust what do u guys think. im thinking this is going be sleeper plus ill get more power out of a exhaust since theres plenty of exhaust flow. and if anyone has it done what do they recomand and if any pics please post so i have an idea how to actualy get this to work

hey there , good idea but just not enough room for u to easily mount a electric cutout on the spipe i would instead mount it at the very begining of the midpipe where the flange is damn near 2.5

thats almost exactly what iv done before on my old turbo kit and doing close to the same thing on my new setup. Its nice to be able to keep it quit and let it loose on the track.

its been done in that local but it is easier to just have it either at the end of the s-pipe or the start of the midpipe. my midpipe is 2.5" and thats where i put mine then i ran the stock axleback. closed it takes longer for turbo to spool and i dont reach full wastegate spring pressure, open i get full pressure and quicker spool.

not sure exactly how much room there is. yep before the second cat, the second cat is near the end of the midpipe close to the axleback portion.
