emanage vs. emanage ult.
if u think u dont need anything close to a standalone then the ultimate isnt for you....
but if u decide this u are better off using the aem fic rather than the emanage blue
this is pretty much the rankings of piggy backs based on features and such
1. emanage ultimate
2. aem fic
3. emanage blue
4. safc
now comes the list of cost effectiveness
1. fic
2. fic
3. fic
get the picture?

sorry if i was kinda pushy for the fic but if u knew how the two worke du would agree..
in summary the fic add and subtracts fuel directly through the injectors..
the emanage blue does this by tricking the maf sensor into eithe rreading lower or higher..( problems with this is if u get big injectors then u have to trick the maf into reading lower which in turn advances timing , anything thing is if u lower the maf reading u cant idle)
the aem can do partial throttle tuning and be 100 percent check engine light free
the blue cant so u will have to either keep resetting the ecu or tune every 300 miles or so
the aem fic uses a built in map sensor so u can tune by boost not maf this makes for smooth tunes
and if u look at pricing for a pnp fic ur at around 600 new...
if u go with a blue and add all the harnesses and stuff that u will need u will exeed the 600 that u pay for aem

Yup, eManage blue needs the MAF voltage clamped or it goes nuts on the xB. Didn't ever throw a code though, just bogged down at lights off the line and ran lean when shifting to 4th on an automatic. The AEM FIC also has a pressure sensor built in, so no extra $100 for an add-on sensor.

If you have an antifouler, any managment (other than Standalones) is Check engine light free too...just FYI..
You would buy the pressure sensor to tune off boost with the Emanage systems. No one thinking properly would buy all the harness stuff to fit on a Blue, they would just upgrade to an Ultimate. Not to mention, you wouldn't need all the harnesses to add to a blue in order for it to match an F/IC anyway.
PS....isn't the thread Emanage Blue vs Emanage Ultimate though?
