Default Exhaust for turbo set up....

Hey all... did a search... didnt find what i was looking for.

What exhaust set up are you FI guys running? Currently I've got a Greddy SP2 with the stock piping. Was told i should upgrade the size of the piping to 2.75- 3.00, but would i have to get a new axle back? and what about the s-pipe? are theyre any other pipes i would have to change in the process?

Thanks for the help.

do not get larger piping...if you do go larger, go no larger than 2.5"...but stock has worked fine for f/i for our car (2.25"). Having 3" piping might actually cause a small loss in hp with our car unless you're pushing over 300whp.

go big and dyno it. if you see lots of gains, then you know your choice was worth it. I gaurentee you that you will see at least 10+whp with 2.5 or bigger. just go big

I'd go 2.5". Seems to work well, and think about it, sti's and evo's run 2.5" pumping 300 hp, so why not our cars.

yea dude, do 2.5" to your SP2....Ive been reading a lot and it looks like 3" is more for the people pushing over 300hp...

O and thanks for letting look over your kit...I know I will definately have more questions for you but just couldn't remember them all...lol

2.5 for the win , any larger if you are running close to 400whp .

i told you stay 2.5 IMO its not worth the trouble.. if anything you can just get a turbo muffler.. i wouldnt do it.. but then again.. i know you wana hit 300 denny.. just stay how you are.. i dont think you going to get much of a gain form it..

I went full 3 inch. On turbo cars you want as much flow as possible.
