Hello, I have a 06 scion tc with the trd sc, nst pulley, weapon r intake, 110 valve, trd tune. I have a AEM wideband to measure the A/F ratio at idle and crusing I know it should be 14.7 but mine reads 14.9 while at idle and crusing. I know the most important case is under boost which reads around 12, but is the idle ratio okay? Thanks

 

14.9 is what tcs idle at not 14.7. and 12 is a bit lean...id aim for 11.5-11.8

 

it tends to bounce from 14.7-14.9 (sometimes might touch for just a second to 15) atleast what iv seen so far. some widebands may use different sensors and different gauges may not be as accurate as the next. just my two pennies.

 

some tuners can map for leaner a/f safely, across the whole powerband. 12's is in the rich side, but it depends how long you stay under boost and how many psi, temps, motor condition.

 

anyways your idle sounds fine...happy boosting

 

ur an idiot ....in boost 12 rich? wow go to sleep, u want 11.5-11.8 on our cars to be considered safe yes u can do 12.4 but not at high boost

On the trd supercharger it should be fine. I didint notice but did OP say he had header or stocker?

 

oh lol hes supercharged..yea 12 is about normal since its low boost and they pull lots of timing

 

i run 12 afr's all day at 16 psi....atleast when i was at 16 before the homo stole my stuff.

your on e85 u dont have to worry bout knock, u also know how to tune and know to pull timing for lean conditions

mtuned thats why lol that _____ mike can tune u all day at 12s and u will be fine

no im not on ethanol....it was 91 octane from the local shell. and marcelo, they stole my boost controller and what not.

 

Ok ok I will go next weekend. Oh wait my cars in a comma. Oh wait free tune?WTF!!!!!! Why didn't you say so. I would have tryed mtuned if I knew it was free. Oh well maybe next time. If I ever fix this car or sell it.

12 afr on s/c is fine, i think thats where trd tuned it.. i think trd is pulling at least enough timing too.. and its low boost too

thanks for all the replys, I do not have headers.. I did see the A/F go into the 11.8-11.6 range when under full boost.
