not even close. a 95 civic hatch has a curb weight of 2,108 lbs. a gutted tc would weigh 2,500 lbs. tc's are at a distinct disadvantage when it comes to weight. thats why it feels so good to beat turbo hatches at the track.

My 95 Civic 4dr dx weighed 2200lbs on the scale and my tC weighed 2945 if I remember correctly on the same scale neither was gutted.

Aluminum would be a custom thing. To my knowledge no one makes an application for a tC like that.

I know, I was just attempting to over exaggerate, but even my exaggeration was an understatement.

still have both bumper supports? Full exhaust? 1 seat (aftermarket?)

Im gonna see how light I can get my tC without doing the roof .. It looks like a pain in the ___ to do the aluminum
I asked Ptuning for advice a while back and they ignored me

Home Depot is selling lexan now.. I would look into that smoke

Lexan for the roof? Naw I'll pass, couldn't stand a clear roof 24/7. And the aluminum I would have PTuning hook me up with if I go that route. I don't get ignored, perhaps your question just got lost in the mix somewhere when you asked them.

No I meant Lexan for the rear windows glass (not hatch)

I PMd the guy on here twice and got ignored. Oh well for them.

I just call or email MrC directly. But anyhow. Yeah I was contemplating on Lexan in the rear when I go CF on the hatch.

By what a few ounces...lol. A thin sheet of aluminum does not weigh any more than a piece of lexan glass, I'll bank on it.

I'll pass on that and just rivet it in, like PTuning's tC.
