FIC Injector Duty Cycle
SO just curious i remember hearing before that the idc displayed in the fic isnt accurate, anyone know anything about this? Since i still have my fic ive been playing around tuning the car n/a before its boosted again in another week. Im using the stock injectors and have seen the duty cycle hit as high as 83% in the 5800-6200 rpm range. Ive dialed the afr in perfectly at 12.8-13 across the power band tapering down to 12.6 -12.8 from 5200-6200 rpm - the car feels MUCH better - but to get the afr where i want it im actually pulling fuel (around 4-10%) yet im seeing 80+% idc, doesnt really make since.

Going over 100% is a physical impossibility lol - thats the whole thing - i dont think the idc readout on the fic is correct and i believe other people have come across this before. Also it doesnt seem logical to actually be PULLING fuel and getting over 80% idc on stock injectors N/A

with 550cc injectors running 13afr or stock injectors running the same afr @ idle?
i had a friend of mine who didnt like the fact he was running 15-15.5afr @idle so i played with his 02 map to try and find a sweet spot (14.7) at first i got it in the 13s but the idc didnt respond to the changes...i think when rev'd in neutral it would go to 1% on each injector but thats about it...i never however viewed his idc while running on the street...

I have noticed some inconsistency in the injector duty cycle readout on the FIC. What I will usually do is try to calculate it manually instead.
This is a pretty in depth calculator:

RC has a less sophisticated calculator too:
