I don't know how to describe it. When I had my honda you could upload the file from the eprom chip to the pc to view and edit it.
My question is: How do you take a map that is on the FIC and put it on your computer? I have a friend giving me his map so I can use it as a basemap to limp to a tuner, once I get my FIC.

 

Open up a cal file, click on the connect to fic icon on the top left screen. It will prompt you if you wanna upload the file to the fic or from the fic. Click on "from the fic" and save ur file.

im running windows 7 64 bit and heaving problems getting my computer to open fic ...I will prob take my old computer and download windows xp so I can use it easier

 

Im usin windows 7 64 bit too and i have no issues.

 

Are u havin issues connecting to it? Check the aem forum, u may need to do something so it recognizes the usb port.

 

yeah if downloaded every link every things i have seen and still no luck
