Anyone have any idea of a grade A+++ place to get a kit installed and tuned at in florida.. preferably south of Orlando? im having trouble finding a nice place ;/

I'm sure they can but not sure they'll do the job. I think they are pretty busy. I don't think they take on cars like the tC except one that I know of and as far as I know that thing has been there for awhile.

Let Brett install it and then let Japtrix tune it. He can load a base map on there to get you to the tuners. Not a big deal to install it and I'm sure he'll do it for less then a shop.

ya ima let brett do it but now im seriously rethinking myself.. a boosted auto tc sucks lol. im still doing it but.. im still gonna be slower than i want to be.

 

Dude, you'll end up with a nice power car and not have to worry about the headaches that come with more power.

Plus there's always a tranny swap later down the road.

 

how much would a tranny swap run like 4 grand lol.. and the headaches that would come with that!

 

why not Titan? they have more experience tuning Toyotas than CFT

 

I dropped $2K for them to install my **** back when I first got it. I get it back and someone on here says the dyno run looked like the base map. I call them up and find they didn't tune my car but I paid for it. They did give me the money back for not tuning and it was installed right but to send a customer out of your shop without tuning when they pay for it is . Not to mention I could of had some fiends do it and got the same results. I drove the car an 1 1/2hrs just so one of the supposed "best" can get it done right.

Don't get me wrong they put out some good stuff but there's more then a few stories like this about them. It's like if you don't have a supra forget about it, it's hit or miss.

 

No not that much at all. The cost of a tranny which you can get at a junk yard (let me know I give you a name) maybe $450 for tranny and $100 for misc parts. Then the cost of install. Oh, clutch and flywheel too (stock about 70 used or 500 after market). You can probably make a deal with the junk yard to trade your auto in for the manny.
