Default FML White Smoke. Update strange development

Today i noticed white smoke coming from my exhaust. No smoke coming from the dipstick. The oil looks normal but there are little bubbles in it. Im thinking head gasket. Any ideas. Also when the motor is running every 20 seconds or so i hear a loud tick. WTF

I hope it's just the headgasket and not a cracked cyl wall.

less than $150 if you do it yourself.. but if it were me, I'd spend more to get some ARP head studs at the same time.

i have a brand new toyota head gasket if you want it dave......im using cometic now but stock looks strong as hell....multi-layer steel FTMFW

crap dave did your luck run out? compression test maybe in order. if that comes back clean it maybe your just running rich...just a thought

do yourself the favor and dont let it go - get it looked at while the car is still moving. Get to to a good engine shop, find out the issue, and get your engine fixed. I waited too long and almost didnt make it to the place to get it fixed.

Yea dude luck not so good. I thought maybe running rich but the smoke is persistent and it doesn't smell like fuel or oil.

looks normal for now. Although it started today and i stoped driving it right away so it didnt have much time to drop. The oil looks normal as well.

Do you get chocolate milk when you drain your oil and popcorn popping after shutting down from normal operating temp? That usually means head gasket... and me being hungry. lol

It should sound more like a gurgle coming from the block rather than ticking. Sometimes if your turbo is water cooled, it will tick a little from the heat after shutdown.
