ok, I turned it 5 more times seems better but i couldnt fully test it cuz it was raining all day. I would of turned it even more but the vac line gets twisted and i didnt wanna have to fix it in the rain. Like yellowxboy im new with being boosted too, so i had a question, My boost gauge reads one line in vaccume when the car is off, does that mean it will read one psi less when im in boost?

i've set it to 33 clicks with the 90/10 setup. seems to run fine but i'm not sure how to 'test' it. do you just floor it in 2nd gear and shift at redline and see the highest PSI reading?

You could really do it in any gear, yeah just floor it and at redline you will see what your max psi is, I just find it hard to look at the gauge, the road, and not redlining. I think 2 is the best gear to test it though.

lol totally agree on that one. my digital boost gauge actually records the highest PSI, so maybe i'll floor it sometime this week and see what PSI it reaches.

$4.13 for gas. damn them all!

Yeah gas prices suck now, Its not helping testing out how much psi your get either. Ever since i got my boost gauge i find my self constantly flooring it every chance i get just to read my gauge. Like its gonna be different each time.lol

haha. okay so i have it at 33 clicks w/ the 90/10 and i only hit 7.5 psi both in 2nd and 3rd gear. i'm going to try 8 more clicks over the weekend

Think of it this way. If I give you one of those big Mcdonalds straws with 10 holes in it running down the straw, and tell you to blow as hard as you can there will be only a small amount of pressure coming out at the end of the straw. Lets say 4spi (not literally) ... but if I plug or two of the holes up the pressure coming out of the end of the straw is higher. Lets say 6psi now. So ... plugging the holes in the straw or"clicking" the BPV to make it tighter is essentially going to bring up your boost (PSI).

Just a matter of trial and error until you get the right amount of holes (clicks).

Weird analogy I know but that is the way I think of it.

hhahaha, i get what you mean flint_08.

i'm hoping to find the right amount of clicks to get the right boost w/o having to close the bpv part. cuz i'm sure if i had it at 100 recirculated, it would run much better
