Its a key for the super charger pulley.
The pulley makes the shaft rotate, which makes the impeller rotate, which compresses air. (BOOST)
The smaller the pulley, the faster the shaft spins, the more boost you make.
Simple gearing.
Only issue is, more boost equals less reliability. So TRD made it so you cant change the pulley. With this key you can take the pulley off, swap it and put it back on. TRD will never know. Therefor its illegal if you go in for warranty work without telling them about it.
Copying the key and distibuting it is illegal as well. Since TRD owns the rights to it.

Well, the key is nice if you don't care about your warranty... but for whatever reason have an '07 S/C.
There's a special place in hell for people who want to commit warranty fraud with it, though.
