Default Fuel Rail spraying out of cylinder 1

Ok so we finally get the car back together and go to start it ....it ran for about a minute and then quickly died .... its spraying out of the topside of the injector (where it plugs into the fuel rail)

the only thing i can think of is a bad injector, the plastic ends are on the one side of the injectors and the O rings are fine on the top by the fuel rail

any ideas? please let me know asap...or instant message me on AIM!

njsciontc

im really trying to get her done tomorrow morning

o-ring was the first thing that popped into my head. For my turbo I bought a new set of stock o-rings and used those. no problems .

the O ring might look good but squeeze it on the sides...you might have too much play and have to replace it...had the same problem after the s/c install

If it starts and dies right out.. not sure. Check all of your pipes.. espicially the intake pipe.
The exact same thing happens if you take out the MAF and start the car.. so im trying to relate it to that

Where is the sound coming from? We're going to need as many details as possible in order to diagnose the problem

exhaust leak, Injectors still need reseating, leaking injector (that was mine), vacuum leak. I would check these first and all your intercooler piping. and your engine management.

definetely a vacuum leak, there is a line that goes on the back of the engine, onto the intake, or fuel rail, I can't remember which one, check that....

lol if i could find out where the sound was coming from i would have fixed it silly people lol

on a serious side though ..... we redid the fuel rail like 3 times and still runs the same so definately not that

i dont know how the car would run if the timing was off a little bit ...if i did i would know if it was my timing or not

but it pretty much holds out at 2500 rpms and dumps a ton of fuel into the motor to keep her running

the only thing im thinking is the timing is off on the cylinders but if that were the case wouldnt the motor have died today and not start again because it would have bent all the valves and everything?

and also if you put your face near the exhaust manifold you can feel air blowing out of it....

im thinking my turbo could be siezed but im not looking to pull the whole thing apart so is there anyway to easily check that?

Im thinking my timing is 180 degrees out ...so if its 180 degrees out .... would that mess up the timing but not screw everything up? cause i dont remember how many times i turned the crank
