Default Fuel Return Alternative? need opinions on this.

Ok so my tuner and i were speaking about what to do after we get the tranny swap squared away.. were puttin the filter directly on the turbo, running a blow-by maf, and an intake mani came to mind and then we got to the fuel.. he said on a couple big turbo built subbies and is300's that hes done to solve the problem for a fuel return system he actually tapped another feed line right into the stock fuel rail in the middle so it was like dual feed. He said i could run stock rail and make a return setup with a fuel pressure regulator.. what do you guys think?

Sounds to me your going to end up buying a pump, lines, fittings anyway plus the cost of welding on a fitting to the stock rail.

Why not just buy a rail and a FPR? Plus the stock rail is tiny. It will only take you so far.

im looking to push 450.
im on 700's right now on 15 lbs and there no where near maxed out.

i got a walbro pump thats it lol.. thats what i was saying tap the stock rail and do a custom return with a pressure regulator and the welding on the stock rail would be free im not worried about that, im just wondering if this would work?

not sure what running a second line is going to do?

Our internal FPR is going to limit you to say 43.7 psi...

if your going to run a second line to your tank why wouldint you just do the return line?

I wouldn't waste money on an intake manifold until someone can provide a dyno stock compared to the new one. The stock one is well built and even though its plastic I haven't heard of a lot of people blowing it. I think Ptuning is still running the stock one without issue. Not to mention aftermarket one you will have to worry about heat soak.

I know someone that has these for sell, I can find out his price I think it is cheaper than 150 and they are annodized, but limited colors are available red, black, and maybe blue. If intrested let me know so I can contact him for you. They have -6AN fittings I believe. I am running this fuel rail on my tC's return fuel setup.

Yup a good fuel setup will end up costing close to 1000 bucks.

Assuming you have a well built turbo setup and the bov or bov’s (not sure how much one could release could be possible to need a really big one or two if the setup is extreme enough) can release that much pressure I don’t think you will have an issue with 18-23.
