Yeah man the s/c made my TC feel like a whole new car. I love it and just to let you know don't worry about the fact that it sounds like a squealing pig when you are at idle. There is nothing wrong with it, that is just how it sounds.

 

I want to get the S/C so bad. Let us know how it is for ya.

 

umm so the dealership is going to warranty it right? like if it kills your motor or if the supercharger decides to blow up just for fun haha

 

Just got mine installed today! Wow, am I amazed at the difference. Its like a whole new car.
It took the dealership about 7 hours to do, but thats because the tech was amazing and took his time and walked me thru every part of the install.
Total for install = $500

yes it SHOULD cover it under warranty, either 12mo from install or the remainder of your powertrain warranty, which ever is greater.

 

Gettin mine done for christmas gift!!!! Cant wait, 40 horse doesnt really make me tingle, but a 7 sec 1/4 mile diff does, and with a new clutch and fly wheel, trd intake and some headers, 220 seems possible!!! Let us know the results!

 

$2085 shipped i got it from Longo Toyota in CA...but i just seen today someone is selling it for like 1850 or something ...im bummed now and yea it's covered under warranty

 

a friend of mine has a s/c on his tC.. its really nice.

im N/A with all bolt-on mods.. we raced for fun knowing that i'd get roasted. but i was able to hang with him through 1st, 2nd and most of 3rd..

3rd gear starts to drag for me, and that's when his s/c took over and got me by like 2-3 cars. im amazed by the whining sound, it's cool! haha

 

can you find out who is selling it for $1850.

Atleast yall can shop around for that. Dealership out here is private so if they dont sell the parts, they dont have to honor them. Install is 837 out here. Yea there is no break when the only dealership on island is privatly owned...

Wo, 3rd gear is my strongest, thats when I start to cream the one next to me, its the lower 1 and 2 that suck for me!

 

Well I got a steal for mine. I got mine, brand new in the box, for a 2007 for $1700 shipped. Got it installed for $500, including reflash and a full tank of 93 octane .
I got a good friend who works at a Toyota dealership who hooked me up on the install. I got the S/C from a guy who needed quick cash and needed to sell it asap. All in all I got it for a steal.
