So i have to go the the state referee tomorrow and I put everything back to stock except the exhaust. The car starts just fine but then dies right after. Any ideas????? I have no idea what it could be.

Im using an intake from an 08 which only one screw for the maf sensor lines up.

 

vac leak when you tried to switch back would be where i look first.

 

clean the MAF

 

It was the MAF...the 08 mounting spots are different and so the sensor was not facing the right way. Turned it and it works now :D Thanks for the quick replies!

 

np. when my turbo was first installed the maf was dirty and wouldnt start

 

my maf sensor was welded on back wards on my intake pipe and i had it zip tied on there for two weeks! haha glad its fixed!

 

mines still zip tied until i have enough for randode's conversion kit.

Well the MAF isn't 100% snug (zipties)

Lines all look good. Guess I'm gonna have to reschedule my smog :/ Wont even be able to see what the code is till tomorrow. Car is kinda sputtery though.

Yeah, could it have gotten messed up when I had the MAF sensor backwards and was starting the car?
