You'll need a MAF adapter for '07-08 tC. You can get it from Paul at Dezod. You will also need a downpipe and perhaps a dumptube for the wastegate. Also get an oil feed line and oil return line - plus all necessary fittings.

What kind of turbo do you have? What kind of psi do you plan on running?

yes bigger injectors should be used. If you are going to run 5-7 psi. Auto tend to use more fuel than manuals on a FI setup. Its always good to have bigger injectors just in case if you ever wan to go up on psi later down the road. Plus you dont want to go get tuned and only be able to run 4 psi because you didnt have big enough injectors. You should get either 440cc or 550cc injectors there are some used sets in the classifides.

5-7 psi, you can live with stock injectors but getting a bigger maybe 440 will be recommended.. maf adapter is used so you can mount your MAF to your intake, if you get an intake with an 05-06 MAF flange welded.. If you have an 07-08 flange welded on the pipe your dont need it

MAF flange: http://www.dezod.com/pd-dezod-motorsports-aluminum.cfm

You're gonna have to have someone fabricate that flange onto your intake pipe going from filter to turbo.

It's okay to stick with the stock injectors for a *short* period of time. I would suggest 440cc injectors for the amount of power you'll be seeing. But if you can find some 550cc for cheap then go for it.

What fuel management were you thinking of getting?

Any wideband will do. I tend to stay away from AEM gauges - but that's my own personal preference.

Definitely get these gauges:

Boost
Wideband
EGT
Oil Pressure

Im an auto and I got boost, wideband, and oil pressure guages. I have the AEM FIC and I am seeing one problem with it. With the auto the TPS doesnt shut off with the FIC plugged in. SO even though the ignition is off power is still going to the TPS. I have to unplug my FIC every time I get out of the car. Which sucks!

I thought AEM had found the problem? Have you tried talking to Dezod? I remember reading a thread that they found out the solution to this.

Just curious, whats up with the power to the tps issue? I have an 07 and dont SEEM to have this issue, i havent pulled my charge piping to see if its w/o or not but my theory would be wouldnt it run the battery dead if like that for very long, that solenoid that opperates the throttle plate probably draws quite a bit of current, also those of you having this issue, do you have the pnp harness or wire yourself? I wired mine myself, and its working great. Now i need to work on putting the auto tranny cooler on this week, i think im also gunna drain and replace the atf, I wanted to go with the royal purple atf (just really to match my oil and it meets toyota spec), but found out it was over $10/qt and has to be ordered in virtually everywhere. Does anyone know a good atf that can be picked up at advance/oreilleys/autozone that meets toyota spec and isnt too outrageously priced? (Sorry to threadjack) O and yes im still running factory injectors on 5.5psi (self tuned), it holds afr steady to 12.5-12.9 at full boost and wot but injectors will go to over 90% duty cycle so Id def reccomend going with bigger injectors when possible, i plan on putting in 550's when i get my august bonus so that ill be ready when i start heading for 8psi and finish my air to water intercooler im making :D and possibly a new mani.

I dont think AEM has fixed this problem yet. They have been working on it with Dezod im pretty sure and they are trying to fix it. You should preobley contact them and ask them to see what they say. I have a PnP harness from Boomslang and I am having the TPS problem.

thendawg I was is ur boat a couple of weeks ago trying to find ATF for my car. I went to all the auto parts store and they had ATF for our cars that were like $3 a quart. I didnt feel to safe about this stuff. I acually just ended up going to the Toyota dealer and got it from them I think it was like $4.50 a quart or something but I felt alot better putting Toyota fluid back in it instead of the cheap stuff on the self at the local auto store.

sweet guess a trip to yota is in order - man i really wanted the royal purple just to match my oil brand lol but damn $10 a qt for atf = a pour nick Can you take some very closeup pics of your boomslang harness (showings pins, wire connections, etc. As an elec engineering major in college (unfortunately just havent finished by about 25hrs), working in the field doing pcb test and repair, and also being the auto electrical guru i am hopefully maybe i could help on this, it could always be a car to car thing but im wondering if its maybe in where they have the ref ground connected in the harness vs where i made my connections, etc.
