Default Great WIDE wheel for FI tCs!

Dan Gardner Racing, Dezod Motorsports and Enkei Wheels are pleased to announce a limited edition custom wheel, which was made specifically for the Jackson Dawson Racing Team. This wheel was custom made to Dan Gardner’s specs for his 2007 Road Racing tC, which currently has 2 NASA Championships and a few Koni Grand Am attendances under its belt. This limited edition will be a spin-off of the much loved Enkei RPF-1 wheel. The specs of this awesome wheel are as follows:

Scion tC Lug Pattern of 5x100
Size: 17 x 8.5**
Offset: 30
Tires to be fit onto this wheel: 225 up to 255 wide!
Finish of the wheel: Custom Black
Weight: Less than 16lbs per wheel

**This is the only wheel on the market for the tC that offers an 8.5” width in a 17” wheel, and is the only option you have to run a 225 or wider on the tC. This offset also widens the track, pushing the tires further to the corners for drastically improved handling.

If you are serious about racing, traction, handling, or just looks; this wheel is the perfect compliment to your tC. Providing one of the lightest weight wheels, with the widest width for better handling and traction, not to mention the “feel and look of a custom wheel made for your ride”, this is it without the price tag associated!

This will be a VERY limited production of the wheel. Enkei has granted Dezod Motorsports exclusive distribution rights of this wheel for Dan Gardner. There will be a mere 30 sets that will be produced, and that is all! No more ever again. Dan himself will be taking 4 sets for the racing program, which leaves 26 sets of wheels available to the public forever. So if you would like to get in on this remarkable once-in-a-lifetime deal on this wheel, now is the time to act.

Below are all the purchasing vitals:
MSRP (according to Enkei) is $375/wheel
Killer price of $1200 (set of 4) delivered anywhere in the 48 states.

Pricing is extremely fair considering 17x8 in a less aggressive offset go for $250-275 in Silver. This is a custom finish, custom color, custom offset made specifically for Dan. This promotion requires a 25% non-refundable down deposit to ensure your set. Takers?

1. Dan Gardner (4 sets)
2. Dezod (1 set) ---- 25 sets left
3.

Hello Paul.

Question, i understand these wheel will fit 245 tire, but the question is will it rub on tC with this offset ? the stock on is +45 and the wheels are +30.
Thanks Paul.

Using this offset, there IS a way to ensure no rubbing will occur, just takes a tiny bit of possible experimentation.

I'm unsure of these ways, since i never really played with offsets..
anything has to be modified ?

as far as Paul said Camber setting will depend on it.. so i will also need to purchase right size cambers ?

These wheels aren't for looks, they are for performance.

Would rolling the fenders be the easiest way to prevent rub with these wheels?

Guys there are plenty of people running 17x8 with a 35 offset and no issues. It’s not going to be a huge change clearance wise. I can’t speak for rolling of fenders with regard to running like a 255 though.

Dan ran a 17x8 with a 5 mm spacer with zero issues, making it a 30ET. Also, the Hoosier and the Nitto tires are wider than most street stuff.

If I werrn't in the process of ordering a set of ccw's then I consider these. (I am thinking something more aggressive like a 17x11)

I ran 17x8 +35 RPF1 with 225/45 Falken Azenis 615 and didn't rub once camber and ride height were set properly. If I remember correctly, Dan ran 225/40 with the same wheels on my tC to scrub in tires and everything was fine.

Not into 17s but these are freakin' cool! VERY NICE price considering shipping is included!!

And for all the cry babies who are going to say they are overpriced...
If you can't "Pay to Play", then maybe you should stay home.

Yes we tried to keep the pricing inline as much as we can, but this custom wheel, offset and such really laid down the pricing for us.
