all i have to say its the TUNE!! i had this problem with a tuner that swore up and down that he can tune tc's! then i went to another tuner that was reccomended and WALlA! i'm rich anymore between 4-4500 rpms and my car doesnt tall anymore!! its all about the tune. and as far as ultimate only tuning partial throttle WRONG! you can tune it. you just have to have the fuel trims close between the ecu and the ultimate from what i was told. anyways if i were you try a different tune that has tuned tc's successfully.

Smart man! Never try this unless you have great knowledge and understanding of engine and fuel principles and requirements also knowledge of the computer being tuned and its software.

car is back to normal. no more black smoke. the reason why it went into LIMP MODE was cause of the volt on the o2 sensor. so talk to you tuner and tell them to play around with it. what happened to mine was that it was letting out 50% fuel causing the stock ECU overriding the piggyback. and if your turbo'd and running a piggyback in SoCal make sure you bring it to shawn at churches cause he can fix partial throttle. its awesome!
