Default Greddy S/C set-up for tC's... any info out there?

I heard that Greddy is producing a supercharger kit for the tC now, does anybody have any info on the specs?

Don't hold your breathe. It will be almost impossible to fit one of those on the intake manifold in the tC. There simply isn't enough room for it.

Well my buddy with Greddy advised me there are no plans to turn out a supercharger for the TC. They do not see it as producing enough power to compete with their turbochargers (which is obvious), but they do not believe they could market it to TC owners and have a good turnout. Keep in mind with any performance part, if the demand is there, they will make it. If you want to voice your requests to Greddy, email them.

just tell them how trd dropped the ball and is selling a piece of junk supercharger that is overpriced, unreliable and underperforming and that there are lots of power hungry tc owners out there who want s/c performace but don't trust the trd supercharger at all.

I would ditch the TRD piece in a heartbeat if they would produce something other than a Centrifugal Unit. Cuz we know that turn out already. I would just like a little more piece of mind than what you get with the TRD.

i don't think you'd get the same piece of mine if you got a supercharger made by greddy. most people get the trd one because of its one year, 12k mile warrenty, or it joins your tc's 3/36k warrenty, whichever is longer. but greddy should look at whats wrong with the tc's design, and start their and make their own much better one.
a greddy supercharger would have the same piece of mind that most people have with the idea of turbo kits.

yup i told them not to mind the TRDs advantage in that it keeps it warranty, nobody needs a warranty when you have a reliable unit such as a greddy.

well i gotta an answer from greddy not exatly the answer i was looking for this is what they said:
Thank you for your interest in GReddy
Unfortuantely there are no plans for a supercharger kit for the TC , But we do offer a very good turbo kit for the TC that on a stock engine will give an extra 100hp and with the turbo set up it is alot easier to progress and push more power out of the car than a supercharger. please visit our website and check it out www.greddy.com
