Default Greddy Turbo Install Questions

I helped a buddy install a used greddy turbo kit on his car and I have a few questions.

1. The internal Wastegate has a Hose fitting on the bottom of it, I put a Vac hose from that Barb on the bottom of the wastegate to the Vac line above the throttlebody. The only reason why I ask this is beacuse the intercooler piping coming from the throttle body has a nipple on it and I remember when I took the kit off the last car, the wastegate was connected to this little fitting on the intercooler piping and not on a vac line.

2. The back of the BOV( HKS SSQV- I think those are all the letters lol) has a barb also, does this connect to the same vac line above the throttle body, or does it hook up to the little nipple on the intercooler piping or nothing at all.

I have see pics of other greddy kits and none of them have this little nipple on the intercooler piping, I have no clue what its there for. And Im not talking about the intake pipe, im talking about the pipe connected to the throttle body. Ill try to get a pic

Each of those - wastegate and BOV can come from the sam vacuum source.

However, sometimes the Wastegate may work better if it's coming from charge pipe. It all depends, you need to play around with it to see what works best.

As long as they're all getting a boost/vac source, you should be okay.
