Well the flywheel will shave 10x + more weight from the rotating assembly then a crank pulley would. Save the $1xx and put it towards a clutch and flywheel.

Agreed - go for the Flywheel & Clutch. Pulleys are hit or miss... The only one that really does something is the SC Pulley
