Greddy Type-S questions

Default Greddy Type-S questions

hey guys, just wondering... i have the bottom nipple(angled one) on the silver part of the bov vacuumed up to the vacuum block and the top nipple on the purple anodized part left unhooked. now im venting to atmosphere.. does anyone know if this is correct? ive read some ppl left the bottom angled nipple unhooked?

Bottom one should go to your compressor housing. Helps alot with compressor surge and the top to a vacuum source.

wow..... my top one is left open and the bottom one is going to the vacuum block i believe...

ya the bottom one is supposed to go to compressor housing to eliminate surge or something but most ppl leave it unhooked, got it hooked up right now but trying to figure out why my "sneeze whistle" sound isnt as loud as most ive heard

Probably cause your not boosting much. I know my tial was low as hell up until I raised the boost not sounds great.

prob and prob cuz the turbo size, this srt-4 has one near me and just going in reverse tapping throttle ____ is sooo loud

yea..my turbo was too big for a hks ssqv to sound good at 10 psi it was all surge
