Every thing has parameters. But get this, on the Ultimate, it has the 2az-fe engine code as one of the predefined setups. Set it to 2az and it fills in a lot of stuff automatically.
now thats baller......did you have programs that you had to download and load onto your ultimate (i mean to the unit itself)?

No lie. Pays to have great friends, and a car club who's membership is in the double digits, so parts get passed around between us first, and then sold to everyone else when time comes.

No. Just base maps from people for tweaking. Stuff like the rev limit increase you have to pay close attention to, but other than that, no special task to be completed. Speed limit cut is a simple Yes or No button...lol.

what top speed can you hit in our cars w/ the speed limiter deleted? you'd have to increase the redline in order to go past our "factory limited" 130?

If you ever looked at where your RPM's were when you hit the factory limit of 127mph, it's at about 5k rpms + or -.

With the speed cut removed, and leaving the rpms at factory, we are good for about 147mph according to PTuning. With a slight bump up to about 6500-6700rpm, should be in the neighborhood of 150+ mph.

Of course I will not be testing this out on the street. Testing it either on a dyno, or the straight away during Time Attack.

This is a "Piggy Back" thread though. So, no inclusion of standalones. And my boy is running the Hydra on his (fully built, GTK 550 turbo), and my other boy is running the AEM EMS standalone on his custom TT kit with GT35r, stock motor.

There are quite a few running the Hydra on here.

But yeah, obviously a Standalone is greater than a Piggy back, but a Piggy back can go where a standalone can't.....Emissions Testing.
