I personally prefer to look in the same direction as my current guage cluster (speedo, rpms', et cetera). I went with the normal A-pillar setup. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I'm gonna switch to the Creative Compacts one, however.

I do have an ATI EPod if you want...
you got any pictures of the pod? and do you have there guages to? if so send me some pics! thanks!

I agree, but my standard gauge cluster is not over my left shoulder. They are straight ahead, so the ATI pod is more straight ahead then the a-piller, don't you think?

In all honesty, I dont' think I ever look at my standard cluster at all now, and I can just glance down to see my ATi pod. next meet, I'll let you sit in my car and you can tell me what you think.

I'm sure, either way, you would get used to it in a say or so. I just have never liked the A piller pod, which is why I liked the optional OEM STI and Evo clusters.

yeah, I never thought not having them would be an issue. And now I found out I am moving to a tropical island where it is summer and humid year around.

Guam need goos AC.
I still havent finished this. I need to this weekend and get it painted this week.

Have fun with it. I like having my A/C Vents.. Especially cuz the A/C's kinda weak on the tC anyway.

I still have the ATI Epod - not sure what I'm doing with it yet.

well this is my first car where it would be best for me to get some extra gauges in. and think the gauges in the A-piller looks spiffy cool so thats the route imma use. :p
since the apillar ones i seen has 3 blanks at most. i have decided boost/vac, oil pressure, volts. told its a nice mix for daily driver/show car, that i rarely race if at all.

Well, Seeing as you're only Supercharged, Air/Fuel isn't as big a deal. Still, if you want a flashy gauge with LEDs instead of needles, get the AEM UEGO wideband A/F :D

Air vents are a neccessity in Vegas. And my ATI pod only puts those gagues an inch higher then the air vents.
I'd like to see a custom job built into th dash ABOVE the air vents. Or something that will work under an aftermarket single din stereo but still allow the door to close.

My setup isnt for everyone, I just wanted to go totally custom. So many parts can be found on other rides. i would say this is as one off as I can ever get.

but moving to guam, I dont know if it will ever be insatllaed.

This was an extra one I bought just for this purpose. So that isnt an issue. I am going to finish it. And wait till i get there to see how bad it is.
I never use my dash vents here, and we have been in the 100s recently. So I might be ok.
