Well i got my scion like a while ago.....and i think i should start puting some new parts in the engine :D:D

Well any ways to the point,,,im very interested in puting a new headers first on the car.

i can spend some big cash since iv'e been saving up thats not the problem...but im just wondering if i only get the header piece not the full exaust system. Will it have some sound problems or some engine problems.

so Is puting only the header part in the car will be ok?
will it do good with stock exuast? and also i was on ebay there were some kits header and exuast system but i duno sounds shady to me for 150 bucks.....

My god - dont buy any performance part from ebay. Search on scionlife ......

 

Do your research and get something that will give you the most out if your car. Dont just settle for a good deal. Spend some extra and get a good quality part that has a warrinty and stuff.

IMO get a 4-2-1 header and gain more torque and some hp thats what i did.

 

Oh yeah. Puttin a header on and keeping the rest stock wont matter, it just helps in power and sound to do a full exhaust or an intake, and helps gas milage too.

and also will it give me some good sound with only the header installed for now

 

You will be better off getting a complete exhaust systen, i.e. header and catback exhaust system. Remember, you get what you pay for.

The DC sports header is also a good header only reason i didnt get it is because the mmw header comes w/ the s-pipe.

I had a header and s-pipe on for 20k before getting the rest of my exhaust, and it didnt harm any from what i can tell. It also doesnt change the sound much w/ just the header fust a little more sound in the high rpms at wot.

I think if you get the skunk2 cat back system it will sound the best w/ out adding a bigger resonator.

y is this in forced induction? and to answer your question, your car DOES come with piping... so even if you switch out everything other than your s-pipe, you'll have everything connected. it'll bottleneck like crazy, but yeah whatever. get a mmw header nd s-pipe, and a catback and call it a day.

 

Yes. With the header that i linked you, then the skunk2 exhaust will bolt directly to the supplyed s-pipe with the mmw header.

Yes you will need to buy a seperate s-pipe with the megan header. Im not sure how much they cost but i know there are several companys out there selling these s-pipes now.

Also if you buy the megan header you will also have to purchase an antifouler (it keeps you check engine light from coming on when you delete the first cat on the stock header.) When you buy the mmw header they give you the antifouler also.

Also remember that the stock s-pipe is very restricted if you dont replace this it wont hurt or anything, but it will keep you from getting all the potencial hp from your system.

uhm....... no. mmw header comes with a header and a s-pipe. do you knwo what the exhaust setup is? header, s-pipe, midpipe, axleback. you said you had a full magnaflow exhaust. jw.
