Help...........How to test stock BOV/BPV
Hello!
I see many treads about the S/C stock bov not working when upgrade pulleys for more boost. I have upgrade my pulley many times and on the boost gauge I can see the full boost, but now I change my setup since I build my engine whith forced internals and intercooler with the S/C. I know there is a pressure drop because of the intercooler and piping. Right know I have a 14psi NST pulley and boost gauge tells 10psi that I think is too much drop, I tested the pressure in the intercooler piping up to 20psi and have leaks corrected. I want to know how I can test the BOV to see if there a problem there............Thanks!

what are you using for your BPV? if you are using something like a bosch 102 or 110, yeah, they'll release boost. the 102 release boost above 7-8 psi, and the 110 releases above 10 or so.
you should probably get something like a forge 007 divertor so you can change the springs to regulate the boost it holds.

Im using the stock bpv.........
wow, i'm surprised you're even seeing 10 psi. that is where you are losing boost. the stock bpv with the supercharger kit is the bosch 102. once a certain amount of boost is reached, it releases any excess boost.
so you need to change out the BPV to something that will hold more.
