Default Help needed urgent!

ok well everything was running fine with my blow-thru maf setup now im starting to get "system too rich" codes after like 6 miles of driving,

my injectors are 410cc trd

also if im on the higway and im at 4k rpms my car goes straight to a 10.0 air fuel ration if not richer, for me to correct this i have to let off the gas for a couple secs and then get back on it(mind you i dont have any partial throttle adjustments...)

also after doing a pull if i go into the next gear and try to cruise on the throttle my a/f are 10.0 again....

i keep resetting the ecu!!!

possible reasons?

its colder out and because of the the air the maf is reading is 37 degrees and is tryna dump fuel to compensate for cool/dense air?

something effed?

tomorrow i have a long drive 2-2.5 hrs to Maryland international raceway just for the show i wont be racing...

so before i go ima try to switch back to draw through and see whats up

That is normal closed loop to open loop transition except that the AFR is too rich in open loop. Are you adding fuel with your SAFC? The ecu alone shouldn't be that rich with those injectors. You can always tell when enter open loop by watching the AFR drop on your uego.

Stop resetting the ecu so it can learn new fuel trims for your 410cc injectors. The longer I go without resetting the ecu, the better my car runs with 440's.

My best guess is your safc tune. With your setup you may actually need to pull some fuel at 4k rpm but I bet you're adding it. Without management and 440's I had a similar issue when first entering open loop. The AFR would drop to 10:1 and start climbing to 12:1 as boost, rpm and load increased. You want to level that out with the safc so that you start at 12-13:1 and get a richer as load increases.

Good luck and have fun tommorrow.

problem solved i just simply set my SAFC to subtract 15% fuel form 4200 to redline during partial throttle and this is good i have it at 13.5 a/f ratio and i think thats a good ratio right?
