yea im running 9:1 compression pistons....iv been lookin and checkin some stuff and everytime i press the gas the check engine light will start to blink so i got the codes on it and its saying that my #3 coil pack was bad, i could also unplug the harness from the coil pack and it wouldnt make any difference, when i would unplug any of the others the engine would bogg down....so wat iv done so far is iv changed all 4 spark plugs iv replaced the #3 coil pack and its still acting the same...i just went out and played with the wires coming off the coils then went for a drive and it drove perfect for about 5mins but then after acouple stops and starts it began to act up again, this leading me to believe i may have a short in a wire somewere...i called the dealership to find out about the harness only to be told that its part of the main engine harness and that gonna cost me $736 just for the harness.....i need a way i guess to check to make sure that is the problem and also to find a cheaper harness if that is the problem b/c thats insane...im thinkin of droppin by the dealership and have them diagnostic test it for $70 if thats wat it takes...but any help of a cheaper way of doin this would be awesome!!...thnx

Have you tried to disconnect your battery for 10 minutes and plug in only your stock ECU then starting the car and seeing how it acts on coil #3? I don't recommend driving it like this but just to see what happens?

On another note I didn't mention this early even though people say that AEM won't support the computer Dezod made to fit the tC if you explain how everything is connected they will try to work with you. And Paul from Dezod did talk and help the tuner I went to several times and even though he tried to help with the A/C and the idle problem I have, he was helpful the whole time and still remains helpful if I had questions he didn't hesitate to answer these nor call back if he wasn't there when I called.
