Default Hit the Dyno today............

Hit up the dyno today. Happy with the results. 272 hp and 275 ft-lbs at 9.5 psi. The car was originaly tuned for 7psi, you can see where I was lean on the first pull. Brought it down on the second and a bit more after for good measure.

It was a pretty fun day. Met up with some local guys for a dyno and cruize. Lot's of highway pulls. Had two turbo civics, the hatch back dynoed at 330 hp and the other 313 hp, a cobalt ss that put down 250 hp, a srt-4 that made 260 hp, and three mustangs (2 gt's and a 5.0 cobra with heads and cams).

I kept up with the civics pretty good on the highway. They have high hp but low torque around 240 ft-lbs, but they rev so f-ing high. I beat on the srt-4 from a dig, but from a roll it was kinda close. The slow-balt was no match and the mustangs couldn't hang from a 3rd gear roll.

Thanks......The turbo tC was the talk of the day. Everyone was impressed, for most of the guys it was the first time seeing one.

Is this Dyno from AUTO or 5-speed manual?

5 speed m/t with the sp kit at 9.5 psi. The blue scared me to, I was running like that for about 2 weeks. I bought a manual boost controller and cranked it up from 7 to 9.5 wich is why it was so lean. I added some fuel in the second pull, as you can tell from the red graph. Just to be safe, I added a little more after.

Even the redline scares me. Looks like you are running 13:1 in the midrange peak and over 12:1 from 3800 to 5250. I hope that AFR is wrong. Thats pretty freaking lean for a turbo N/A motor. I would add a lot more fuel into that. Running above 12:1 during peak tq in the power band can be dangerous. I know the Tc motor is a bit stronger then most N/A motors but thats just a bad idea all around.

Yeah, I would never suggest going above a 12.1 without a fully built motor. Something will fry.

I know, after the second pull I added more fuel in the 3.5-5 rpm range to bring it down further,, it should be better. The egt never went above 1200*, but it is after the turbo, not sure how much that effects it.

The EGT can be deceiving. Especially since you aren't measuring the EGT of each individual cylinder. If you don't have a wideband I would get one and keep a close eye on it. Anything in the 12s under full boost needs to be addressed.
