Default The hits just keep on coming.

So tonight driving home from my friends house i get to the top of the hill on his street and all of a sudden my car will no longer go into gear.... any gear. the only way i got it into a gear was in 3rd rolling down the hill back to his house. That felt really messy and sluggish. when i got back to his house i tried starting the car in gear and it just tried to lurch forward. Somone please give me a magic solution and it not be my clutch. i've been really easy on the car since the development of my other problem i guess i shoulds stayed rough on her.

slave cylinder failure? I had to replace that on my previous tC and it had the same exact symptoms. Not saying that could be the cause, but just something to look at.

The car wont go into any gear period. i spoke with dezod they said it could be the master or slave cylinders. and from what i've seen about destroyed clutches it doesnt sound like a clutch issue.

okay i've ruled out it being the slave and master cylinders. so i called dezod and picked their brains for a minute. they say it sounds like i just blew up the clutch and a spring from the hub is lodged between the pressure plate and the clutch disc not allowing it to release. oh well i guess i shoulda seen this coming. i got over a year out of my stock clutch with over 310lbs-ft of torque.
