Default HKS BOV being weird after adding intercooler

Have a auto 06 tc. Had the zpi stage 0 kit on the car and everything was great. Just added the intercooler kit to the turbo and now the BOV is acting weird. As soon as I put the kit on the BOV has been working but its now making a surging or a pulsesation sound with the air. Have a HKS BOV on the car. Thought the vac line was pinched so I just fixed that but now its still doing it. I searched and I found something about the HKS BOV has some kind of a tension screw does this sound like it could be the problem?? Thanks in advanced for any information that you can give me!!

it's normal, i thought mine was surging when i got mine on. So, i bought the 2007 hks bov and it did the same thing. it may be the way you have it piped. do you have the wastegate and the bov on the same feed line? i havent find time to mess with it so if you have it setup that way try and separate the two to see if that helps it. could also be caused by the evap switching valve (the little thing that is normally attached to the stock intake, has two vacuum lines and a connector), that may be causing it.

Ya I have them on the same feed line. Didnt know you could split them up thought they had to be on the same vac line.
Thanks for the info!!!

yes you can run each vacuum line directly to the manifold if you wanted to. split em up and let me know how it sounds then
