Default hks ssqv not opening

just installed my BOV, wont open though, im runnin 6psi.

I couldnt find any vac leaks or anything, from what I've read the ssqv is universal and isnt adjustable, is that correct?

wut do u mean wont open? you need a large vacuum change to get the ssqv to completely open, try putting a boost gauge on the vacuum line to make sure there is a signal going to it?

my boost gauge is hooked up off the same line coming from the TB, it shows boost and vac like normal, but even under full boost the ssqv wont open and discharge the air

ouch... dunno about that. maybe try another vacuum source? have read that ssqv may require more powerful vacuum than a normal valve, but if its not opening at all...

i thought my hks wasnt opening when i put mine on, but it turns out that the electronic throttle was making it flutter and not keeping consistent vacuum. try tapping into the manifold and not the throttle vac line.

Check the inline filter if it is installed backward.
