it should be fine if it only touches the hood liner, it even good that you dont have to remove it.. but maybe you can push the pipes closer on the couplers so it will sit lower

sorry guys i couldnt get a vid going today, i forgot i had class today.

 

looking good mang!! for the cold side issue.. cut the coupler smaller and shover the cold side pipe all the way up and it will pull that down so the bov wont touch the hood! you can also cut the size down on the 90 coupler coming from the TB. thats what we did.. we cut small pieces at a time and got good fitment on it eventually!

 

yeah i plan on doing that but just ran out of time, it was midnight when we finished......sleep just sounded better than fooling with that pipe anymore......lol

well i couldnt get a vid today nor could i get any pics of my dumptube. I have to redo my dump tube for two reasons,
1. I made it so its hella hard to get the rear bolt tight (little oversight...lol)2. the bolts that wher supplied by tial will thread in only so far till the end of the bolt sticks through the other side then stops. I tried backing it out just soo i dont strip it or break it trying to go further but striped when i tried to remove it. I had no choice at the moment but to cut it. so now i gata get a tap and die set, drill out the remnants of the bolt and try to tap it a larger size.
The dump tube i made looked sweet though....lol

oh btw i got a cell after i went back to the stock computer and read it today.........P0420 catalytic efficiancy bank 1

If im not mistaken thats the secondary 02 (not the wide band), in anycase we ran out of time during install for me to put the antifoulers on.

Man i still have so much left to do on my ride but just cant find the time to do it.

 

Yeah that's usually the code for the Cat.. put them antifoulers on, boy!
