well looks like the contracter is trying to worm their sorry ***** out of paying for the damages stating that i shouldnt have parked there....well we will see

on to better news i guess i started work on a coil pack cover today and got it about 80% welded up. no pics yet till im closer to finishing. after i tacked everything up and put it on i decided to try something different so its going to take me a day or two to get to a finished piece. I dont have a buttload of time to do this kinda stuff so it takes a while, would help if i had better tools too but hey i do what i can.

 

nice man, but its cool.. good things takes sometime.. we will see more shiney stuff soon

 

ima work on it today and get some pics up tonight if all goes well.

 

well im closer to finishing, got all the welding finished but still got alot of sanding to do. ill post installed pics when its finished. ill polish it up to see how i like it otherwise i plan to paint it gloss black.









the bottom edges are nasty but they will never be seen when its installed so i didnt really worry about it.

well iv got some setbacks with the engine cover....while i was sanding i broke one of the tabs off of it. so ima have to weld it back on and resand a portion of it....i still got quit a bit of sanding to do on the sides but ima hold off till i get that tab back on. Got a few pics of it half arsed installed....excuse the messy valve cover, it got nasty while fabbing this thing.

thanks kev, unfortunately this will be the only one i do unless i can get a good belt sander because hand sanding is for the effing birds.

 

you ever think of picking up the coil pack cover that jjos makes for 28 bucks? might of saved you about 6 hours of your life. lol
