Hydra and AEM..

Although I would probably get the Hydra. They also have their own meth kit.. called Hydramist. It's a very neat system. The only thing about the Hydra is that I don't know too many tuners around us that can tune it. I know Japtrix has done a couple of Subbies on Hydra though.

with the new technology with nos u dont gotta wry about hurting ur engine as long as u get tuned and u dont do crazy amount of shots..because it has modules where it will only spray if ur full open throttle and between certain rpm's so its very safe now

 

How much boost your running right now and how much power is it putting down...I think 9-11 psi and 350whp is fine for DD on the stock block...

 

emanage ultimate isn't a standalone, but it can tune the meth, and i was told it can tune cams to a certain extent. probably should've went with the ultimate when you were deciding on a piggyback, but if you're set on getting a standalone, there's no point in getting the ultimate now.

i agree with standalone.. and yeah hydra, fully compatible out of the box.. you dont have to look for a certified hydra tuner though its good to have one, any good and legit tuner that can tune other standalones can tune it easily..

it is the shiznit but spraying watermeth is much better than just spraying distilled water, i highly suggest mixing it 25 percent methanol 75 water, and if your feeling ballsy step it up to 49/51, in favor of water. <-- Thats Snow Performances mixture. but OP said he/she did not want to raise boost, well I think by using watermeth, you may see 1 to 2 psi increases.....watermeth definitely helps out in increasing boost.

No, it will not increase.

Meth/water will just make your intake air denser - so you'll make more a little more hp, but more importantly, your combustion temps will be lower, helping reduce knock.

 

thats what i thought. Gosh i hate cars anymore.. i couldnt even sleep last night because all i was thinking about was my freakin car. im tempted to do cams after the tranny is complete and i get everything situated but then im going to be spending thousands on just a standalone with a GOOD tune with them...

 

the tranny came out to somewhere in the 4's for fully built, valve body upgrade and torque converter

 

No sense in cams if you can't control them.

 

agreed, in addition to denser air that gives more power, it also allows you to be more aggressive in advancing timing and get more power.. it will reduce the chance of detonation so you can tune it timing more
