How did you pay for your turbo or supercharger..?
I hope this question isn't flame-suit-material....
But seriously, for those who don't mind sharing, how did you go about purchasing your pricey forced induction package? Seeing as since i bought the tc i've pretty much not been ballin' in the financial department (though I leave for navy boot camp next week so maybe that will change...), i got to wondering how everyone else on here got to where they're at. Did you just save up cash for it? Take out a loan from the bank? Sell your house and work two jobs? Please share....

once i found 05- 06 sc drop the price, I could not resist.
Kinda regretted it, because i don't make money like i used to.
I don't drive at boost all the time. But the tc is fun merging onto the highway at 6k rpm.

How are you going back? I keep volunteering but they won't let me go. Crazy how if you don't want to go they make you, but if you want, they say no!

I am going to be using a financing company, I make good money and technically COULD pay for it up front but I want to make sure that I still have a decent cash flow going and money for other upgrades as well.
If you go with the Supercharger, like I am, you can use a financing company like the one on the TRDSPARKS website.
Good luck.

i paid cash when i had originally bought the sc...i recommend saving because ur gonna need a lot more money after the complete install just to be safe and have cash when something goes wrong...don't ever boost on a budget

Saved for 1/3 of it and put the rest on a credit card which I have since paid off. It's easier for me to budget monthly then save up alot! Just gotta pay big chunks off...good for your credit score too!

yeah every time i've got some money saved up for the car something happens lol. like back in november when i was gona buy rims, i blew two tires on my stocks (insane camber wear from getting lowered and not getting an alignment) and then this past march i had my tax return and was gonna save that til i got back from basic and jackass tcpete had to put his rotas on sale so i made an impulse purchase there. and other stuff too, more necessity oriented. it's just tough for a 19 year old to get ahead with bills and whatnot while working full time at a grocery store lol.

I agree with the "every time i've got some money saved up for the car something happens"
except when you have a 2008 :D
I saved money by:
- *Dumping the gf*
- cooking rather than going out
- NOT buying other stuff for the car
- not driving everywhere (hitch rides when u can)
- working 50 hour weeks (plus full time student)
just save up man, took me 6 months of NO spending unless i needed something like gas or bills. WORTH IT!

good for credit score and pay like 800-1200 monthly on the credit cards, 5months and you're free!
isnt that bad for your credit rating if you dont pay it off on time?
i just put mine on my card but im gonna pay it off right away so my credit is good. hows that work anyway lol i never botherd to find the technicalities of it.
