Default How much boost the MAF sensor resist

I was asking myself where will be the best place to reinstall the MAF sensor on a turbocharger
The charge pipe to the throtle body, or the intake pipe that goest to the turbo
I been doing a lot of searching everywhere and ive seen turbo kit like ZP1racing they have it on the intake pipe and some other guys put it on the charge pipe
MY question its because i would like to put the air filter straight into the turbo inlet and put the MAF sensor in the charge pipe i will probably be running 8psi so i dont know if i will be safe doing that
ZP1 RACING PLEASE HELP
help guys please

You can do either...we like maintaining the MAF as a suck type v. a blow thru. Pipe diameter is key, 8 psi depending on the turbocharger size I would suggest that you use at least a 2.5" pipe so that you do not max out the MAF. You will need to recalibrate the MAF via tuning.

You can use it as a blow thru but this will require a lot more tuning and not really benefical at 8psi. We sell the MAF flanges if you want to make something custom.

Thanks ZPI after iam done installing the turbocharger on my car i'm doing a 440cc rc injectors and a supercharger reflash the same one that the dealer uses to do the supercharger cause my brother is a tech on a toyota dealer do you think that will be enogh tuning for 8 psi? and one more question about the charge pipe on your stage 0
isn't the air coming straight from the turbo too hot i ask my friend and he said its about 200 degress when it comes straight from the turbo but when it runs throught the pipes and intercooleri probably is about 50 degress its this true?
is it better to run an intercooler than run it straight to the t. body ?
how does that works on your stage 0
thanks again

ZPI, will 4-5psi on a t3/t4 max out the MAF? You guys run 5-6 with stage 0 and a 16g right? I know that the turbo will suck in more air and the computer will compensate; but, the corrasponding fuel amount to give would be just enough to run like a 13:1 a/f ratio right, wouldn't that combined with all the timing be very bad? also, are you guys running a larger than stock maf tube in your s0 kits?

ZPI, I wrote another pm for you. How do you get the car to run rich enough for a turbo+4-6psi without larger injectors or piggyback?

I want to run just like 4psi for awhile to...
1. make sure everything works right since Iam piecing everything together
2. I really want the aem ems, don't want to buy something for a temporary fix and need to save up for it.
