Default How ZPI turbo kit should look

Here is another one of my little creations. Since I am a absolute freak when it comes to perfecting everyhing I do with cars,
I had to colormatch this ZPI stage 0 kit to the theme of my engine bay.

Things to notice: Tial wastegate does not come with black flange, turbo does not come polished and vacuum
manifold does not come with the kit and you can't get it polished either. Still wating on braded vacuum lines and
fittings to install on the car. The rest of the engine bay is on ts way.

Expect a lot more custom little toys from me in next two weeks

PS!!!

I need a top engine cover. It is the metal part with blue sticker that is bolted down to the engine block itself under the black plastic cover.
Anybody has one? I will pay $30 to just borrow one for couple of weeks.

looks awesome. i want to coat mines as well, but im still waiting for my other part to arrive so i can coat them all at once(dumptube) the only parts i will get coated would be the manifold, turbine side of the turbo, downpipe and dumptube. i don't plan on polishing the compressor side of the turbo, but yours sure do look nice though

p.s. where did you get that manifold gasket? i rather not get an oem unit.

That is the OEM gasket. Actually not a bad gasket at all.

Awesome man. Wish mine looked like that. How much did the coating run you?

I like the concept alot! I only have one problem with it. The black parts will not catch your eye at all once it is in the car. And the only reason I see to powder coat a turbo kit is for show. I tink you should have used a different color that would stand out more. But on the other hand it will make the polished parts stand out even more. The black parts will be somewhat invisable to anyone at any sort of distance from the car because of the shadows in an engine bay!

All in all nice work though!

Thanks a lot guys! The whole thing cost me around $300. This is not powdercoat, this is ceramic based.
The coating prevents the heat and it does not get damaged under high temperatures. Powdercoat would cost me $50 for everything.
I don't want a lot of flash and bunch of colors, just something with style and quality for myself. I wish I could do the same thing
for my whole engine block.

Very impressive! Are you going to Ceramic Coat all the pipes or powder coat the rest?

Dude that looks sweet, I am happy that I have placed my order with ZPI for a stage one turbo and head.

I do have a question on fittings and hoses, has anyone made a list of what one would need to complete the kit. Fittings, style, size, etc. I would like to order the fittings and hoses now so I am ready for the install.

Whatever I am going to coat next will have exactly the same coating. I have to keep everything consistent.

All the fittings and hoses come with the kit, you won't need anything. ZPI is a stylish setup.
Every part is the right size from esthetic(sp?) and performance points of view.

you better powdercoat the flanges then because they will look out of place.
