Munch 01-10-2006 06:46 PM

 Now that's the way it should be done. Congrats man, I knwo you will enjoy your kit. Its basically a turbonetics kit without the unichip.

rlazer5000 01-10-2006 07:43 PM

Congrats man! Definitely will have to take some pics when you get the kit! Looking forward to seeing some awesome results and numbers! Good luck!

Not at all. Turbonetics came out after ours. They even use a different spec'd turbo than we do. We have a lot of unique little twists to our set-up.

DTRUONG_112 01-10-2006 09:13 PM

keep us updated man.

mattssi 01-10-2006 09:27 PM

I got mine also!! There was an issue w/ my downpipe, but everything else is on its way!!

I can't wait..going to be a little bit before its on (coatings & customization), but it will be fun fun pretty soon!

BuddasTC 01-10-2006 09:41 PM

yeah its gonna be hella fun, know it will have some boost behind its sexy style, and I know paul will be happy not to be getting 10000000 emails from me everyday!

I didn't mind.

mattssi 01-11-2006 12:04 AM

...it was my 10,00,000 IM's on top of it that made him flip ;)

mr_lore 01-11-2006 12:14 AM

Maybe this has been answered but I havnt found it in any dezod thread but does anybody know if the downpipe will mate up at the stock locations or is there some sort of mid-pipe setup included here?

Reason I ask is I have a Creative Compacts Stainless Borla catback setup with a ZPI v2 or whatever S-pipe and I was wondering how much of it will have to be modified for this setup to work.

That and if the FMIC pipes will interfere with my is300 fog light setup, Im pretty sure they will.

Cant wait for the pics, I've been tearing my hair out over deciding whether or not to do dezod stage 1 or SC with FMIC and 9psi pulley.

BuddasTC 01-11-2006 01:20 AM

I definetly think this can best be answered by Paul, but I think I may have the answer, Yes it will match up with the stock pipe, My mid section of my exhaust is still factory, my axel back is HKS.

BuddasTC 01-11-2006 01:21 AM

Oh yeah.....and the answer to your question......go with the Dezod kit, more power than the TRD supercharger and looks cooler under the hood

Our tC downpipe includes the S-pipe, which mates to the stock exhaust system. So if you purchased our exhaust too, it will replace the entire exhaust system. I do not know if it will interfere with your fog lights or not.

mattssi 01-11-2006 02:07 AM

Thats what I thought I read. Pretty cool as the S pipe is very restrictive. Good call on replacing that w/ the downpipe.

Thanks sir! Your S-Pipe is being shipped. Just the top half of the downpipe we need to hold up a lil bit longer.

Joe_Dezod 01-11-2006 02:45 AM

Congrats guys. Expect quite a fun little setup coming to your doors.

More upgrades to come if 300hp isn't enough for you :)

In the garage for hours......sleeping on the garage floor...... ZZZZZzzzzZZZZzzzzz

BuddasTC 01-11-2006 11:04 AM

Tips of advice for installing this kit......

1. Definetly P.M. Joe and get the install guide from him. I'm way ahead of my self because I have the car already taken apart.

2. The oil pan is a W@$RE!! Good luck with this one, toyota really got some strong sealent on this one.

3. Exhaust manifold come out super easy, O2 sensors werent bad at all....just make sure you spray a little WD40 on them.

......just waiting on fed-ex now......should be here anytime now! Ill keep ya updated.

mattssi 01-11-2006 11:25 AM

I'm excited! I mean, they have an install CD with bunch of pictures and everything.

Looking forward to the oil pan....

Stu_Gotti 01-11-2006 12:25 PM

paul_dezod 01-11-2006 01:09 PM

couple more hours and you will have yours.

Gmoney 01-11-2006 01:35 PM

i want pictures and a full write up on the kit. im really interested in this kit.

mattssi 01-11-2006 01:43 PM

its gonna be sweeter than a new set of snow tires. Just an FYI - I went the route w/ the MAP sensor/harness, so I'll be attempting the 11psi route. Still trying to figure out what boost controller to get. I used to have the SBC-ID III in black, but I don't know if its really necessary to spend that much.

Joe_Dezod 01-11-2006 02:54 PM

Matt if you want something cheap and effective I'm using the Turbo XS performance boost controller (the chrome one). We're using that as a temporary boost controller but it's been working well for us in the meantime.

mattssi 01-11-2006 03:01 PM

I was actually looking at those. People seemed to think they worked well. They ahd teh dual stage one which was cool.

I reall like the ability to adjust the set/gainj on the sbc...but that comes w/ a price I guess. May just get a cheaper one temporarily also

Joe_Dezod 01-11-2006 03:19 PM

Yeah. I know you know how to get in touch with Paul. He can hook you up with eiter. The dual-stage is nice, I installed it on my cousins Mazdaspeed Protege, and it worked really well. Had good experiences with the basic one on mine as well so I think you'd be happy either way.

Simplyscion 01-11-2006 04:42 PM

Hey Matt I got a turbo xs High performance BC Im lookin to get rid of for like $50 if you want it...its blue though.

Dezod_Boosted_STi 01-11-2006 05:01 PM

Yes, well put Z. Thanks to everyone for the continued support!

paul_dezod 01-11-2006 05:45 PM

If any needs boost controllers, we have the Blitz Spec-S in stock priced at $339 with respect to electronic boost controllers. I love this one personally because it has 4 settings unlike GReddy with 2. The Blitz also has tons of functions and has a better valve with respect to response. I noticed less spike and better spool up with the Blitz when programmed properly.

We also have some manual bosot controllers in stock too.

Gmoney 01-11-2006 06:37 PM

im stoked on this kit.

Joe_Dezod 01-11-2006 08:42 PM

I'm about to under take some more modding tonight and doing more heavy stuff over the next few weeks. I'll have a little bit more time now so we can develop more things for you all!

paul_dezod 01-11-2006 09:31 PM

Yes everyone thank Joe.

I thank you Joe. He truly is a good man.

kungpaosamuraiii 01-11-2006 11:13 PM

More things... I'm going to just assume you mean an equal length tubular manifold.

wink wink nudge nudge SHOVE

BTW, I haven't looked at 7thgencivic.com but do you finally have the information about the D17 manifold? Is it a direct replacement for the current manifold or does it necessitate an entirely new piping system?
